The Oriental Ceramic Society of Hong Kong is delighted to announce a preview of highlights of Christie’s Autumn sales of Chinese ceramics and works of art with Pola Antebi. The auction includes an extraordinary range of ceramics and works of art, from Song ceramics, Ming and Qing Imperial porcelain, jade carvings, and Buddhist art, to scholarly objects and zitan and huanghuali furniture from The Tseng Collection. Among the highlights is the Chang Wei-Hwa Collection of Archaic Jades as well as cloisonné enamel from the collection of Robert Chang and a magnificent Carved Dragon Celadon-Glazed Meiping Vase.
Pola Antebi is Deputy Chairman and International Director of Chinese Ceramics and Works of Art at Christie’s Hong Kong. Her areas of expertise include Imperial ceramics, jades and works of art from the Yuan to the Qing periods.
Members are reminded that as the preview takes place before the public are admitted, this event is strictly limited to current members only. A limited number of places are available and pre-registration is required. Drop-ins will not be entertained. Members are further reminded that photography is not ordinarily permitted. Also, please note that visitors are required to wear a face mask, receive temperature screening, sanitize hands with rubbing alcohol provided, and register / use the LeaveHomeSafe application to scan the venue QR code at the temperature screening station prior to entry.
