The Oriental Ceramic Society of Hong Kong is delighted to announce a preview of highlights of Christie’s Autumn sales of Chinese ceramics and works of art with Pola Antebi.
Among the highlights of this auction will be Christie’s presentation of Masterpieces of Chinese Art from the Palmer Family Collection, featuring Qing imperial jades and Ming porcelains, most of which have been exhibited by world-renowned institutions such as The Oriental Ceramics Society London. For the Important Chinese Ceramics and Works of Art auction, notable pieces include a rare Xuande ‘Immortal’ bowl and a Qianlong ‘Hundred Deer’ vase. The Eternal Ming auction showcases 15 exquisite pieces from the MQJ Collection, while Cosmic Essence offers 75 archaic jades from the Lantien Shanfang Collection, previously exhibited at the National Palace Museum in Taipei.
Pola Antebi is Deputy Chairman and International Director of Chinese Ceramics and Works of Art at Christie’s Hong Kong. Her areas of expertise include imperial ceramics, jades and works of art from the Yuan to the Qing dynasties.
Members are reminded that as the preview takes place before the public are admitted, this event is strictly limited to current members only. A limited number of places are available and pre-registration is required. Drop-ins will not be entertained. Members are further reminded that photography is not ordinarily permitted.
