The Oriental Ceramic Society of Hong Kong is delighted to announce a preview of highlights of Christie’s Spring sales of Chinese ceramics and works of art with Pola Antebi.
The auction presents an exciting array of masterpieces, ranging from iconic Ming blue and white and early ceramics, to Imperial jades and orcelains. Key highlights of the sale include two masterpieces from the early-Ming period – an extremely rare Xuande Blue and White Pomegranate-form Vase and a fine and rare Yongle Blue and White Moonflask. Other highlights include “The Imperial Palette
– Three Qianlong Treasures”, “The Cissy and Robert Tang Collection of Chinese Classical Furniture”, and “A Heritage of Appreciation – Selected Treasures from The Palmer Family Collection”.
Pola Antebi is Deputy Chairman and International Director of Chinese Ceramics and Works of Art at Christie’s Hong Kong. Her areas of expertise include Imperial ceramics, jades and works of art from the Yuan to the Qing periods.
Members are reminded that as the preview takes place before the public are admitted, this event is strictly limited to current members only. A limited number of places are available and pre-registration is required. Drop-ins will not be entertained. Members are further reminded that photography is not ordinarily permitted.
