Join OCS committee member Tony Chan on this one-day trip to Shenzhen to visit both private and public museums, and conclude with a visit to the antiques market.
Among the highlights of the visit will be the Shenzhen Museum’s exhibition of relics from the Han dynasty Chu Kingdom excavated from Sichuan, and a visit to the Zhizheng Museum,the largest private museum in Shenzhen, for its collection of imperial wares. More modest in scale will be the small private museums housed at the antiques market.
As places are strictly limited, priority is given to members, and we encourage you to register as soon as possible. The cost of the trip includes transportation in Shenzhen. Meals will be on a cost-share basis. Please ensure that your home-return permits or China visas are up-to-date. A detailed itinerary will be sent to registered participants several days in advance.
