The OCS is excited to announce a guided tour of the Flagstaff House Museum of Tea Ware on August 17 with head of the museum Dr. Anne Lam. The museum is the first specialised museum in the world devoted to the collection, study and display of tea ware. The core of the museum collection was donated by Dr K.S. Lo.  It included about 600 pieces of tea ware and related vessels dating from Western Zhou (11th century–771 B.C.) up to the twentieth century. The tour will focus in particular on the Yixing wares donated by Dr Lo.

Dr. Anne Lam obtained her Master Degree and PhD from the University of Wales (College of Cardiff, UK) and the University of Hong Kong respectively. She also holds a Graduate Diploma in Museum Studies from the University of Sydney. She has worked as an Assistant Curator in the Hong Kong Museum of Art, Hong Kong Heritage Museum and Art Promotion Office from 1992 to 2008. Currently, she is head of the Flagstaff House Museum of Tea Ware.
