The Oriental Ceramic Society of Hong Kong is delighted to announce a guided viewing of A Taste of the Masters–An Exhibition of Paintings from the MK Lau Collection with the Collection’s curator, Catherine Maudsley.

Pola Antebi guided members through a private preview of Christie’s Hong Kong Autumn Auctions of Important Chinese Ceramics and Works of Art, telling the stories behind several highlights of the sale.

Keason Tang gave a fascinating tour for members of the music-themed section of Bonham’s Hong Kong Autumn Auctions, even performing a piece on the Song Dynasty guqing in the sale.

Members especially appreciated this exclusive preview of Sotheby’s Chinese Ceramics and Works of Art with Nicolas Chow, a treat after months of social distancing.

Members were taken through the season’s highlights, including The Harry Garner Reticulated Vase, a lost masterpiece of Chinese porcelain found in a remote European house almost 60 years since it last came to market.

Members were led through the season’s highlights, including a celadon vase made at the Longquan kilns in the Southern Song dynasty (1127-1279) covered in a thick celadon glaze of jade-like quality.
